Project #2 - Lesson Plan
Sample A

Why is this an exemplary lesson plan?

1) One class period
2) Objectives are what the author wants students to know or be able to do when finished with this lesson.
3) Two content areas (literacy in history/social studies and CTE Health Science/Medical Technology standards are integrated.
4) Technology standards (NETS)  are addressed
5) Technology is used effectively and authentically, and the way it is used is thoroughly described.
6) Full URLs to websites are provided in the materials list and in the procedures.
7) Multiple Intelligences are aligned in the right hand column with materials, procedures, and product.
8) A quantitative rubric accompanies the product.

Quantitative Rubric

The second and third row are very well done, with specific quantities identified as guides for students.
Row 1 (Internet Use) could be deleted because the criteria are subjective, or just the 4 pt and 1 pt scores could be included. Avoid vague terms such as 'usually' and 'occasionally'.
