Week 1 WSQ
Watch - Summarize - Question
WSQ an effective tool in a flipped classroom because it front-loads basic understanding of a topic so that students and instructors can use valuable class time in more constructive, cognitively demanding ways. Students to explore a topic by reading, watching a video, or viewing a presentation on their own. Then they summarize their understanding of the topic in a WSQ form, which is often created in Google Forms. In class, students come with prior knowledge and basic experience with the topic, and the instructor can then guide them toward deeper understanding and application of that knowledge.
